RTTY Radioamateur Station
Guadeloupe Island F.W.I
Became interested in amateur radio in 1969 at age 15 and spent next 6 years as an SWL collecting
radioamateur DX QSL.
I got my call sign F6EKX in 1975 and the same year I discovered the rtty with a buddy of mine :
Jean-Paul F6CAF.
I built a ST-5 TU with µa709 PLL chip to detect the tones, and then repaired an old CREED 7BN4
machine.
After that, I have used many systems, and now a computer with MMTTY+NM1 LOGGER.
In spite of the newer digital modes like PSK and others, RTTY remains my favorite.
Other Interests : photography and road trips through the USA and CANADA, my wife, my daughter and
i visited 24 US states and 3 canadian provinces.
